Holly Miranda played yesterday at the Westminster Reference Library and rocked it out.

The atmosphere was great, even though the audience wasn't participative as i wish they would, but, hey, we are in England, right?

Holly's voice is captivating and charming, the sound she and Timmy Mislock create with guitars is dark and grunge-ish enough, Will Carl Cameron on bass and David Jack Daniels complete the set. Big fat full rock band in a library. Awesomeness.

I was lost in world of sound and dreams.

banda bassotti

dopo 10gg passati a fissare i record di voli e treni annullati/persi, ieri arrivo in aeroporto a linate e il poliziotto che mi controlla il documento mi lascia con il sorriso.

riconosce la mia maglia della banda bassotti (finalmente un po' di soddisfazione!!!) e sorride. mi chiede quando torno, dove l'ho comprata o se l'ho fatta io. gli dico che l'ho fatta io e ne vuole una per quando ripasso di qui, a fine agosto... :)
simpatico e carino.
